My caveat: I’m an electrical engineer by education and trade (for the last 25 years). I have no formal training or certification relating to anything in finance, investments, economics, or accounting. However, I’ve been through the life challenges of scraping by at (almost) minimum wage, starting a career, starting a family, building a nest egg, making and losing decent amounts of money, and dealing with all the financial challenges and decisions that come with it.
